Making-of: Wedding Rings

So the last weeks I worked on this wedding rings for a client.

So the idea was to create someting unique in relation to the names. I take the first initial from the name, and take this as base object for the ring. With some techniques I extruded and bend it.

This was a little bit to simple, wo why not take the two initials and morph them together. I had the “Y” and the “P”.

The problem was that they had a complete different technical structure. So when you connect these you have much problems.


It was much testing to find the correct way about the angle, and the position of the letters.

The final result:
